Buffalo Brought Down By Lion In Kruger Escapes In Most Unusual Way

The wildlife footage captured in Kruger National Park never fails to astound. This particular footage, however, is especially unique.

Two lionesses from one pride chase a herd of buffalo into two male lions from another pride. The collaboration is successful and they bring down a buffalo, with the four of them seemingly happy to share a meal.

However, another lioness, apparently belonging to the same pride as the two males, wanders over to share in the spoils. What happens next is astonishing.

The footage was captured by Ranger Mike in the Mala Mala Private Game Reserve in the Greater Kruger National Park, and uploaded to Kruger Sightings on YouTube.
