Hold your breath for this one! This footage shows the moment a brave buffalo charges down a pride of lion to save her little calf in north-west Tanzania, East Africa. While the rest of the buffalo ran clear, this particular mother had a calf by its side and couldn’t keep up. Instead of abandoning it, the motherly instincts kicked in and it bravely keeps the lion at bay. However, it was inevitable that the lion would get hold of the calf in the end, but when they did something unexpected happened…
