Hope Is Making Friends Again For The First Time After Being Attacked By Poachers

This is the touching moment Hope the Rhino was re-introduced to a herd for the first time after surviving an attack by poachers at the age of four. They chopped off her horn, but after almost dying and numerous surgeries, Hope is ready to make friends again…[fbvideo link=”https://www.facebook.com/savingthesurvivors/videos/1060260900681883/” width=”800″ height=”700″ onlyvideo=”1″]

Although the meeting went off without a hitch, her caretakers looked on with bated breath, fearing the worst. The video was posted on their Facebook group Saving the Survivors.

‘…it went better than we expected – no fisticuffs on the playground thankfully. We will be keeping a close eye on the situation until she has settled in and found her “crew”. We hope she finds a friend or two soon and bonds with them… today was a good day!’

Absolutely amazing job by all involved. To found out more and donate go here.
