Incredible Images show 5 ton Elephant Attacking Mother Hippo

This incredible scene played out in Erindi Private Game Reserve in Namibia.

A five ton bull elephant was grazing alongside a group of hippos when a mother hippo wondered slightly too close. The mother had a calf nearby and decided to stand her ground.

The bull was able to flip the mother with what looked like relative ease, even though they can weigh upwards of 1.5 tons.

Fortunately, the mother did not sustain any sever injuries, just a small gash on her side and a ‘rather bruised ego’.
