Man And Fish Create Special Bond Over 25 Year Long Relationship

A local diver of Japan’s Tateyama Bay, named Hiroyuki Arakawa, has built an extraordinary relationship over the course of two decades¬†with an Asian sheepshead wrasse named Yoriko.


Hiroyuki Arakawa has been tasked with looking after a sacred shrine called a Shinto, guiding anyone who wishes to visit the watery sanctuary.

In his time below the surface he has built a very special bond with Yoriko, the most touching aspect of which is his customary greeting in the from of a kiss…
