Spider Catcher Is Perfect For The Arachnophobic Pacifist

We’ve all been through the dilemma of what to do when a spider is hanging around. Some take extreme action and use the boot, some fiddle with a newspaper or coffee mug, while the lucky few who don’t mind having them around leave them to their business. Well this clever contraption just takes one squeeze of a handle and the bristles at the other end of a pole (emphasis on ‘other end’) trap the spider without harming it, allowing the user to remove said creepy crawly (at a safe distance) to a place far far away.

Although it looks like a pretty handy invention you need to know where the spider is! It wouldn’t have helped this man from Australia who was bitten by a red back spider while sitting on a portaloo (on his penis we might add).
